Historique

History
Antique villa near which fragments of sigillated or stamped pottery were found. Primuliac is one of the oldest monasteries of Languedoc, a monastery to which Sulpitius Severus is said to have withdrawn in the 4th century, ecclesiastical historian and disciple of Saint Martin. The plan presents two parallel facades, sixty metres apart from each other, between which are arranged numerous rooms, some very spacious, others reduced, similar to monks' cells.
