Maison à pans de bois faisant partie de l'ancien noyau de la ville, capitale du comté d'Auvergne, depuis le milieu du 12e siècle jusqu'à la Révolution. History
Timber-framed house forming part of the old nucleus of the town, capital of the county of Auvergne, from the mid-12th century until the Revolution. The building presents projecting storeys, with a ground floor in stone. The first storey is in corbelling supported by beam heads and at each end by corbel-heads. The second storey is likewise in corbelling, supported by corbel-heads and beam heads, one alternating with the other, and presents a large window with wood mullions. On the north side, a vaulted passage is attached to the building. It is in slightly broken arch and supports two storeys each comprising a window with stone frame.
