Historique
Fontaine du 16e siècle comprenant un bassin circulaire à rebord mouluré saillant sous laquelle est gravée en creux d'une inscription latine. Un boudin se trouve sous cette inscription. Au centre de ce bassin circulaire formé par de larges dalles d'andésite se trouve un édicule dont la base carrée arrivant à hauteur des rebords du bassin supporte un fût circulaire sur lequel est posé un vaste récipient clos en pierre, ovale, dont la partie inférieure comporte, sculptés en relief quatre mascarons par les gueules desquels l'eau coule dans le bassin. Trois moulures saillantes à profil de boudin entre lesquelles est également gravée une inscription, se trouvent au-dessus des mascarons.

History
16th-century fountain comprising a circular basin with a moulded projecting rim under which is carved in intaglio a Latin inscription. A bead-moulding is found beneath this inscription. At the centre of this circular basin formed by large slabs of andesite is found a small shrine whose square base reaching the height of the basin's rims supports a circular shaft on which is placed a vast closed stone receptacle, oval in form, whose lower part bears, sculpted in relief, four mascarons through whose mouths water flows into the basin. Three projecting mouldings with bead-moulding profile between which is likewise carved an inscription are found above the mascarons.
