Historique
Cette église aurait, dans un premier temps, appartenu aux hospitaliers de Saint-Jean de Jérusalem. Elle dépendait de l'abbaye de Manglieu avant 1789, le curé de Vic-le-Comte étant nommé par ce monastère. L'édifice se compose d'une nef de deux travées voûtées d'ogives. Les nervures retombent sur des chapiteaux de style roman. L'entrée principale s'effectue par un portail du 14e siècle, trilobé, très rare dans la région. Sur les murs nord et sud du choeur de la chapelle, dont le chevet est à pans coupés, présence de peintures du 13e siècle. Deux bandes peintes superposées surmontent un personnage debout dans une arcature. Les peintures de la partie haute se situent de part et d'autre d'une fenêtre en arc brisé.

History
This church would have, initially, belonged to the hospitallers of Saint-Jean of Jerusalem. It was dependent on the abbey of Manglieu before 1789, the curate of Vic-le-Comte being appointed by this monastery. The building comprises a nave of two bays vaulted with ribs. The ribs rest on capitals of Romanesque style. The main entrance is via a 14th-century portal, three-lobed, very rare in the region. On the north and south walls of the choir of the chapel, whose chevet has cut-off ends, presence of paintings of the 13th century. Two superposed painted bands surmount a standing figure in an arcature. The paintings of the upper part are situated on either side of a pointed-arch opening.
