We build self-guided trails from the historical markers and National Register places already on these maps. Each stop opens on a map from its own era. Your organization's name goes above the trail's title for two years, and you're credited as its composer. The trail keeps its own fixed address, to print as a link or a code on your signs. You pay once for each trail, with no subscription. When the two years end, the address keeps working as a free trail. To start, email trails@treealive.com with the area you have in mind.
We're placing ten of these trails free, in the order requests come in. They're for local historical societies, municipal historians and county museums. Tourism offices, heritage areas, byways and 250th commissions pay as described above. A free trail is the same as a paid one. Your name sits above the title for two years. It gets a fixed address to print, every stop on a map from its era, and the driving route. We first check that we have maps of your area from the right era, then answer with a route or an honest no.
