Cadw's description

Set in a continuous row of frontages, stepped up from Redford House to right.

Later C18 Georgian 3-storey, 3-window stucco front, probably built as a pair with Osborne House to left; structure with earlier origins and Victorian alterations. Tiled foor, overhanging eaves, rubble and brick chimney stacks. Modern 2nd floor windows, 12-pane sashes to 1st floor with arched bead to centre window. Applied Tudor hood moulds to 1st and 2nd floors. Paired ca.1900 splayed bays with dentilled cornices, coloured glass and sash glazing. Segmental arched coach entrance to left below blank wall space; panelled and boarded double doors.

Exposed rubble right end wall reveals lower rear roof pitch and lines of earlier front pitch.

The interior formally contained a school room of the residential Grammar School.

Group value.
