Cadw's description

Adjacent to gate post on W side of B4337, about 0.5 km S of Cross Inn.

History: Earlier C19 milestone on Aberystwyth to Lampeter road. Similar to milestone on Aberaeron to Aberystwyth road for which the trust was formed in 1770.

Description: Whitewashed stone with rounded head and inscription: `ABERYSTWYTH 13 LAMPETER 11' , the letters of Aberystwyth following the curve of the head.

Included for its special interest as a relic of earlier transport history.
