Cadw's description

On the street line near the former Provisions Market at the Junction with Carmarthen Street.

Ca l850. 2 storey, 3 window Inn. Colourwashed plaster on rubble, plinth. Doric end pilasters. Moderately pitched slate roof, moulded eaves cornice. Rendered stack. 12 pane sash windows to lst floor. Lugged architraves, brackets to sills. Raised plaster lettering with scrolls to ends. SALUTATION INN.

12 pane sashes to ground floor. Lugged architraves, keystones, brackets to sills. Central doorway. Timber portico, simple corniced top on later iron columns. (Formerly Tuscan columns). Tuscan pilasters flank entrance.

Round arched doorway; plain fanlight over half glazed double doors.
