Omschrijving
De "Bijvanck". In mooi landgoed gelegen voormalig adellijk huis (XVIII) op L-vormige plattegrond. De twee, door schilddaken gedekte, vleugels hebben in de ramen nog ten dele de oorspronkelijke roedenverdeling en geprofileerde, natuurstenen vensterdorpels. Deuromlijsting met gesneden deur, ca. 1800. Op het dak van de hoofdvleugel een houten torentje. In de achtergevel en in de hekpijlers van de twee toegangshekken bevinden zich merkwaardige medaillons met koppen (XVIII). In de achtergevel bovendien een alliantiewapen. Inwendig een trap met gesneden Lod. XVI-balusters. Op het erf een schilderachtige schuur (XVIII ?), opgetrokken uit een hout en metselwerk. Het huis is thans als woning voor drie gezinnen in gebruik.

Description
The "Bijvanck". Noble house (18th century) situated in a fine estate on L-shaped ground plan. The two wings, covered by hipped roofs, still have in the windows partly the original glazing bars and profiled, natural stone window sills. Door surround with carved door, circa 1800. On the roof of the main wing a small wooden tower. In the rear gable and in the gate posts of the two entrance gates are found remarkable medallions with heads (18th century). In the rear gable furthermore an alliance coat of arms. Internally a staircase with carved Louis XVI-balusters. On the yard a picturesque barn (18th century ?), constructed of wood and masonry. The house is now in use as dwelling for three families.
