R.K.Kerk van Onze Lieve Vrouw Presentatie, 1844-1846 gebouwd door de Waterstaatsingenieur E.C.B. Ridder van Rappard. Een van de mooiste Waterstaatskerken; oorspronkelijk een zaalkerk, later van zijbeuken voorzien. Graatgewelven op korinthische pilasters met imposten. Altaarretabel in barokke trant, preekstoel met beelden van Christus en de Samaritaanse, een biechtstoel met beelden van David, Petrus en de Verloren Zoon, een met beelden van Maria Egyptiaca, Maria Magdalena en de Goede Herder, fraaie orgelkas, hierin een instrument van F.C. Smits met Hoofdwerk, Bovenwerk, Onderpositief en vrij Pedaal, gemaakt in 1853, met beeld van David en eronder Barbare en Margaretha met de draak. Description
R.K. Church of Our Lady of the Presentation, built 1844-1846 by the Waterboard Engineer E.C.B. Ridder van Rappard. One of the finest Waterboard churches; originally a hall church, later provided with side aisles. Groined vaults on Corinthian pilasters with imposts. Altar retable in Baroque style, pulpit with figures of Christ and the Samaritan woman, a confessional with figures of David, Peter and the Prodigal Son, one with figures of Mary of Egypt, Mary Magdalene and the Good Shepherd, fine organ case, in it an instrument by F.C. Smits with Hauptwerk, Oberwerk, Rückpositiv and free Pedal, made in 1853, with figure of David and below Barbara and Margaret with the dragon. Large early 19th-century crucifix, furthermore light stained-glass windows. Fine front facade with central tower (tile tableaux added at the entrance in 1896). Bell chamber with carillon, consisting of a bell by J. Plumere and F. Delapaix, 1670, diam. 129 cm and a bell by an anonymous founder, 1412, 128 cm.
