Inleiding:
De loods is één van beide schotbalkloodsen die waren bestemd voor opslag van de schotbalken met gereedschappen waarmee de coupureafsluiting bij de doorvoering van de provinciale weg Renswoude - De Klomp (N224) door de Slaperdijk moest worden afgesloten. In 1939 aangelegde SCHOTBALKLOODS. De loods heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond met een oppervlak van 10,5 x 4,50 meter met een hoogte van 4,50 meter. Aan de voorzijde bevindt zich een enkele deur. De constructie is van hout met een verticale beplanking van latten op een bakstenen voet en een zadeldak gedekt met bitumen. De uitrusting bestaat uit enkele tientallen schotbalken met diverse losse gereedschappen.
