Inleiding:
De loods is één van beide schotbalkloodsen die waren bestemd voor opslag van de schotbalken met gereedschappen waarmee de coupureafsluiting bij de doorvoering van de provinciale weg Renswoude - De Klomp (N224) door de Slaperdijk moest worden afgesloten. Op die manier moest bij het stellen van een inundatie afvloeiing van het water naar het westen worden verhinderd. De loods ligt ongeveer 130 meter ten zuidwesten van de coupure.
Omschrijving:
In 1939 gebouwde SCHOTBALKLOODS. De loods heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond met een oppervlak van 10,5 x 4,50 meter met een hoogte van 4,50 meter. Aan de voorzijde bevindt zich een enkele deur. De constructie is van hout met een verticale beplanking van latten op een bakstenen voet met een pannengedekt zadeldak. De uitrusting bestaat uit enkele tientallen schotbalken met diverse losse gereedschappen.
