Omschrijving onderdeel 1, Ruïne
Op het kasteeleiland gelegen RUÏNE NETTELHORST, bestaande uit de enkele meters hoge resten van het muurwerk van de voormalige traptoren en de muurresten van de zuidwesthoek van het gebouw, waarin enkele keldervensters met traliewerk. Het in oorsprong 16de-eeuwse kasteel is verbouwd in het begin van de 17de eeuw en in 1760. In 1875 is het vrijwel geheel afgebroken. Aan de voormalige traptoren is 16de-eeuws baksteenwerk zichtbaar. Voor het overige is het muurwerk uit 1760. De ruïne is in de jaren negentig van de 20ste eeuw geconserveerd. In het terrein bevinden zich restanten van de fundering en puinresten van het huis.

Description of component 1, Ruin
The RUIN NETTELHORST, located on the castle island, consisting of the remains several metres high of the masonry of the former staircase tower and the wall remains of the southwest corner of the building, in which several cellar windows with grillwork. The originally 16th-century castle was remodeled in the early 17th century and in 1760. In 1875 it was largely demolished. 16th-century brickwork is visible on the former staircase tower. For the rest the masonry is from 1760. The ruin was conserved in the nineteen-nineties of the 20th century. In the grounds are remains of the foundation and rubble remains of the house.
