Inleiding
SCHAAPSKOOI, opgetrokken in Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant en daterend uit XVIIIB-XIXA. Gelegen naast en met de nok evenwijdig aan de bijbehorende langgevelboerderij, buiten de bebouwde kom aan een ontginningsweg te midden van de weilanden en akkers.
Omschrijving
De schaapskooi op nagenoeg rechthoekige plattegrond heeft een hoog schilddak met een lang dakvlak, gedekt met riet en golfplaat, terwijl de andere dakvlakken gedekt zijn met rode Hollandse pannen. Eén lange zijde heeft een aanbouw onder minder steil lessenaarsdak met voornamelijk gesmoorde muldenpannen. Wanden gepotdekseld en gerabat, daarin grote dubbele deuren.
Waardering
De schaapskooi uit de tweede helft achttiende eeuw-eerste kwart negentiende eeuw is van algemeen belang. Hij heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als zeldzaam voorbeeld van een schaapskooi behorend bij een betrekkelijk gaaf en omvangrijk bewaard gebleven samenstel van een langgevelboerderij met vrijstaande schuren voor onderscheiden doeleinden. De schaapskooi heeft architectuurhistorische waarde vanwege de in- en uitwendig gaaf behouden hoofdstructuur en het traditioneel materiaalgebruik alsmede vanwege onderdelen van het interieur. In typologisch opzicht moet aan de schaapskooi zeldzaamheidswaarde worden toegekend. De schaapskooi heeft samen met de bijbehorende langgevelboerderij met karschop en schuur ensemblewaarde en is straatbeeldbepalend.

SHEEP SHELTER, constructed in craftsman-traditional building style and dating from second half of 18th century-first half of 19th century. Situated beside and with its ridge parallel to the associated long-gable farmhouse, outside the built-up area on a reclamation road amid meadows and arable fields.
Description
The sheep shelter on an approximately rectangular floor plan has a high hipped roof with a long roof slope, covered with reed and corrugated sheeting, while the other roof slopes are covered with red Dutch tiles. One long side has an extension under a less steep catslide roof with predominantly flush-fitting pantiles. Walls limewashed and scabbled, with large double doors.
Valuation
The sheep shelter from the second half of the 18th century-first quarter of the 19th century is of general importance. It has cultural-historical value as a rare example of a sheep shelter belonging to a relatively well-preserved and substantial ensemble of a long-gable farmhouse with freestanding barns for distinct purposes. The sheep shelter has architectural-historical value because of its internally and externally well-preserved principal structure and traditional material use as well as because of components of the interior. From a typological standpoint rarity value must be accorded to the sheep shelter.
