Inleiding
Vrijstaande SCHUUR met dwarsdeel, opgetrokken in Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant en daterend uit tweede helft negentiende eeuw. Gelegen met nok evenwijdig aan de weg, naast de bijbehorende langgevelboerderij, buiten de bebouwde kom te midden van de weilanden en akkers. De vrijstaande schuur met dwarsdeel heeft de deelfunctie van het bedrijfsgedeelte van de bijbehorende langgevelboerderij overgenomen, waarna de deeldeuren aldaar konden vervallen.
Omschrijving
De eenlaagse schuur met dwarsdeel is grotendeels opgetrokken uit oranjekleurige handvormbaksteen in kruisverband. Het schilddak is gedekt met rode muldenpannen. In de lange gevel aan de weg, rechts uit het midden grote dubbele deeldeuren. Staafankers. Hooizolder.
Waardering
De schuur met dwarsdeel is van algemeen belang. Zij heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een tamelijk grote, vrijstaande boerenschuur, behorend bij een betrekkelijk gaaf en omvangrijk bewaard gebleven samenstel van langgevelboerderij met vrijstaande schuren voor onderscheiden doeleinden. De schuur heeft architectuurhistorische waarde vanwege de in- en uitwendig gaaf behouden hoofdstructuur en het traditionele materiaalgebruik alsmede vanwege onderdelen van het interieur. De schuur heeft samen met de bijbehorende langgevelboerderij met schaapskooi en halfopen karschop ensemblewaarde en is straatbeeldbepalend.
