Omschrijving onderdeel 24: CASCADE.
CASCADE achter molenaarshuis. In rode baksteen opgetrokken cascade, gesitueerd pal achter de stenen schuur achter het molenaarshuis. De cascade gaat in oorsprong terug tot omstreeks 1800, maar dateert in huidige aanzien uit omstreeks 1900. De cascade bestaat uit een bak ter breedte van de beek met bakstenen rand, die ter hoogte van het verval van de beek gedragen wordt door een bakstenen keermuur, waarvan de rechter voorzijde, ter kering van het talud, schuin naar beneden afloopt. Ter hoogte van de randen van de bak wordt de keermuur bekroond door een afsluitstuk van naar achteren toe per rij verjongend bakasteenwerk.
Waardering
De CASCADE achter molenaarshuis is van algemeen belang:

Description component 24: CASCADE.
CASCADE behind the miller's house. Cascade constructed in red brick, situated directly behind the stone barn behind the miller's house. The cascade dates originally from around 1800, but in its current appearance dates from around 1900. The cascade consists of a trough the width of the stream with a brick rim, which at the height of the water fall is supported by a brick retaining wall, of which the right front face, to retain the slope, slopes downward at an angle. At the height of the edges of the trough the retaining wall is crowned by a coping of brickwork that tapers backward with each row.
Valuation
The CASCADE behind the miller's house is of general importance:
