Omschrijving
Omschrijving KOEPEL (15) behorende bij de historische buitenplaats Backershagen. Aan de Rijksstraatweg op een hoge, kunstmatig opgetrokken heuvel gelegen koepel gebouwd in 1772. De achtkantige theekoepel is opgebouwd uit een gepleisterde begane grond, een houten verdieping en een door een kleine balustrade bekroond met leien gedekt koepeldak. Interieur: in de koepelzaal (1e verdieping) zijn betimmeringen en wandbespanningen aangebracht beschilderd met attributen die naar het buitenleven verwijzen. De entree tot deze kamer kan met houten panelen onzichtbaar worden weggewerkt.

Description CUPOLA (15) belonging to the historic country estate Backershagen. Situated on the Rijksstraatweg on a high, artificially constructed embankment, a cupola built in 1772. The octagonal tea cupola is constructed from a plastered ground floor, a wooden storey and a cupola roof crowned with a small balustrade and covered with slates. Interior: in the cupola hall (1st storey) panelling and wall coverings have been applied, painted with attributes referring to outdoor life. The entrance to this room can be made invisible with wooden panels.
