Omschrijving
DAMWAND/KEERMUUR (14) behorende bij de historische buitenplaats Backershagen. Aan de voet van de hoog opgeworpen heuvel waarop de koepel staat, bevindt zich een hoog opgetrokken bakstenen damwand op een plint en door vier pijlers geleed. De bakstenen balustrade is opengewerkt in patronen (siermotief) van gele baksteen. Natuurstenen afdekking. De damwand is gebouwd naar ontwerp van architect H.H.A. Wentzel.

DAM WALL/RETAINING WALL (14) belonging to the historic country estate Backershagen. At the foot of the high embankment upon which the cupola stands, there is a high brick dam wall on a plinth and divided by four pillars. The brick balustrade is worked open in patterns (decorative motif) of yellow brick. Natural stone coping. The dam wall was built to the design of architect H.H.A. Wentzel.
