Hoge SOKKEL met Mercuriusbeeld, behorend bij historische buitenplaats De Paauw. Achter het huis staat een gemetselde hoge SOKKEL in de vorm van een zuil op een vierkante grondslag. De sokkel is vermoedelijk een ontwerp van architect Wentzel uit de 19de eeuw en is geïnspireerd op voorbeelden uit Berlijn. De sokkel draagt een BEELD van MERCURIUS uit de tweede helft van de 19de eeuw, eveneens geïnspireerd op voorbeelden uit Berlijn

High PLINTH with Mercury statue, belonging to historic country estate De Paauw. Behind the house stands a masonry high PLINTH in the form of a column on a square base. The plinth is presumably a design by architect Wentzel from the 19th century and is inspired by examples from Berlin. The plinth bears a STATUE of MERCURY from the second half of the 19th century, likewise inspired by examples from Berlin
