De PERGOLA, behorend bij de historische buitenplaats De Paauw, bevindt zich terzijde van het huis en sluit aan op de moestuin (thans kwekerij) met het wachthuisje. Hier bevond zich ook de oranjerie. De pergola dateert uit 1852-1853 en is opgetrokken naar ontwerp van architect H.H.A. Wentzel (het gedeelte bij de parkeerplaats is in 1953 opnieuw opgetrokken). Opgemetseld in gele ijsselsteen (kruisverband) - pijlers met natuurstenen geprofileerde dekplaten en houten liggers. De pergola is dichtgezet met een ijzeren raster als hekwerk met ruitpatroon. Rechts van het toegangshek een cirkelsegment afgesloten door een klein wachthuisje. De gemetselde pergola wordt voortgezet tot de parkeerplaats aan de noordoostzijde van het gebouw en loopt in een hoek van negentig graden door tot de zijgevel.

The PERGOLA, belonging to the historical country estate De Paauw, is situated beside the house and adjoins the kitchen garden (now a nursery) with the lodge. The orangery was also located here. The pergola dates from 1852-1853 and was constructed to the design of architect H.H.A. Wentzel (the section at the car park was reconstructed in 1953). Built in yellow IJssel brick (cross bond) - pillars with natural stone moulded coping stones and wooden beams. The pergola is fitted with an iron lattice fence with a diamond pattern. To the right of the entrance gate a circular segment closed off by a small lodge. The brick pergola continues to the car park on the north-east side of the building and runs at a ninety-degree angle to the side façade.
