Inleiding
Voormalige PORTIERSLOGE, deel uitmakend van het uit 1930-1933 daterende complex Quarantaine-inrichting, gebouwd in Zakelijk-Expressionistische trant en ten westen van de hoofdingang aan de zuidoostelijke rand van het terrein gesitueerd. De portiersloge stond oorspronkelijk direct in verbinding met de thans niet meer aanwezige toegangspoort tot het terrein.
Omschrijving
Op een rechthoekige plattegrond opgetrokken kleine PORTIERSLOGE, inwendig voorzien van toilet en diepe kast, bestaande uit een bouwlaag en een hoge kapverdieping onder een met rode pannen bedekt overkragend schilddak. De langere zuid- en noordgevel hebben een identieke geleding met aan de oostzijde een hoog rechthoekig venster met roedenverdeling. De oostgevel heeft in het midden de ingang geflankeerd door twee hoge identieke vensters. De westgevel is blind uitgevoerd.
Waardering
Voormalige PORTIERSLOGE als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het uit 1930-1933 daterende complex Quarantaine-inrichting, van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarde, alsook vanwege de ensemble- en situationele waarde in relatie tot de overige complexonderdelen.

Introduction
Former PORTER'S LODGE, forming part of the Quarantine facility complex dating from 1930-1933, built in the Business-Expressionist style and situated to the west of the main entrance at the south-eastern edge of the site. The porter's lodge was originally in direct connection with the site access gate, which no longer exists.
Description
Small PORTER'S LODGE erected on a rectangular ground plan, fitted internally with a toilet and deep cupboard, consisting of a single storey and a high roof space under a hipped roof covered with red tiles and overhanging eaves. The longer south and north facades have identical articulation with a tall rectangular window with glazing bars on the east side. The east facade has the entrance in the centre flanked by two tall identical windows. The west facade is blank.
Valuation
Former PORTER'S LODGE as a historically-functional component of the Quarantine facility complex dating from 1930-1933, of general importance due to its cultural-historical value, and also due to its ensemble and situational value in relation to the other complex components.
