DE OUDE POLL
Oorspronkelijk een havezathe, ook wel de 'Sallandschen Poll' genoemd naar het geslacht Sallant dat eigenaar was in de 17de eeuw. In 1693 wordt Ditmar van Wijnbergen, Heer van De Poll eigenaar. Hij koopt:'...Huys en Havezathe den Olden Poll met deszelfve Bogards, Hoven, Weyden langs den Dyck, Plantagie, Holtgewas en annexe Visscherye...". Bij de verkoop stond het Ditmar vrij 'om het getimmer van het Huys den Olden Poll geheel te mogen doen wegbreken...'. Op de door Cornelis Pronk in 1730 vervaardigde tekening is de Oude Poll als een gebouw, voorzien van een trapgevel, te zien. Waarschijnlijk was het toen reeds in gebruik als boerderij. De plaats van de Oude Poll wordt thans ingenomen door een in de negentiende eeuw gebouwde boerderij met pannendak. Duidelijk is te zien, dat het huis gedeeltelijk opgetrokken is van secundair gebruikte bakstenen. Uit diverse soorten rode baksteen opgetrokken hallehuisboerderij onder steil, met rode pannen belegd zadeldak. De voorgevel is gericht op het huis De Poll. In de achtergevel jaartalankers met 1696. Stalgedeelte met getoogde gietijzeren raampjes. Ankerbalkgebint waarin een molenroede is verwerkt. Hilde en standplaats voor vijf koeien. Opslag voor hooi op de balken. Voorhuis uit rode baksteen, ramen en deur ingezaagd. Gekrulde muurankers. Vlechtingen langs de linker dakrand.

DE OUDE POLL
Originally a manor farm, also called the 'Sallandschen Poll' named after the Sallant family who were owners in the 17th century. In 1693 Ditmar van Wijnbergen, Lord of De Poll becomes owner. He purchases: '...House and Manor farm the Olden Poll with its Orchards, Gardens, Meadows along the Dike, Plantation, Wood plantation and annexed Fishery...'. Upon the sale it was free for Ditmar 'to have the timber of the House the Olden Poll completely demolished...'. On the drawing executed by Cornelis Pronk in 1730 the Oude Poll is seen as a building, furnished with a stepped gable. Probably it was already in use as a farm then. The place of the Oude Poll is now occupied by a farmhouse built in the nineteenth century with a tiled roof. It is clearly to be seen that the house is partly constructed of secondarily used bricks. HALL-HOUSE FARMHOUSE constructed from various types of red brick under a steep gabled roof covered with red tiles. The front facade faces the house De Poll. In the rear facade date anchors with 1696. Stable section with arched cast-iron window panes. Anchor beam frame in which a mill shaft is incorporated. Byre and standing room for five cows. Storage for hay on the beams.
