Omschrijving onderdeel 30
Op het gazon voor het huis staat een ZONNEWIJZER (XVIII). Kubusvormige zonnewijzer op vaasvormig voetstuk met gebeeldhouwd bovenstuk, dit alles op een gebeeldhouwde zandstenen zuil versierd met guilloches. De staande ribben van de zonnewijzer zijn uitgehold en van acanthusbladversiering voorzien. De wijzerplaten zijn sterk verweerd en de stijltjes nagenoeg verdwenen. West: met cijfers 1 (13) tot 9 (21), Zuid met 6 tot 6 (18), in hele uren, Oost: niet leesbaar, Noord heeft lijnen van 4 tot 6 en 6 (18) tot 8 (20). (De kubus staat nu gedraaid met het zuidvlak naar het noorden).

On the lawn in front of the house stands a SUNDIAL (18th century). Cube-shaped sundial on a vase-shaped pedestal with sculptured top, all of this on a sculptured sandstone column decorated with guilloche patterns. The standing ribs of the sundial are hollowed out and provided with acanthus leaf decoration. The dial faces are severely weathered and the gnomon virtually disappeared. West: with numerals 1 (13) to 9 (21), South with 6 to 6 (18), in whole hours, East: not legible, North has lines from 4 to 6 and 6 (18) to 8 (20). (The cube is now rotated with the south face towards the north).
