Omschrijving onderdeel 1
Huis "De Poll". Groot omgracht rechthoekig huis met verdieping en omlopend schilddak, waarop hoekschoorstenen met windkappen. Het reeds in de 16de eeuw bestaande huis, sinds 1636 onder de naam Huis Gietelo een Gelders leen, kreeg in de 18de eeuw zijn tegenwoordige vorm en in de eerste helft der 19de eeuw de huidige vensters met geprofileerde omlijstingen en acht- en zesruitsschuiframen, alsmede de ingangspartij met Ionische pilasters en bordes. In de achter- en linkerzijgevel aanzienlijke resten van het waarschijnlijk laat 16de-eeuwse muurwerk met natuurstenen banden, geprofileerde lijsten en geblokte ontlastingsbogen van de vroegere vensters. In de rechterzijgevel is het muurwerk van de uitbreiding van 1636 te herkennen: bakstenen gevel met natuursteen banden en segmentboogvormige ontlastingsbogen boven de vensters met een leeuwenkopje als sluitsteen. Vroeg 18de-eeuwse voorgevel van vijf traveeën breed, met middenrisaliet met boogvormige beëindiging (teruggebracht na restauratie eind jaren 90 van de 20ste eeuw), natuurstenen plint, hoekrisalieten, roedevensters met brede middenstijl. Smeedijzeren slingeruurwerk uit het begin van de 18de eeuw. Het hele huis is onderkelderd. In de kelders kruisgewelven op gemetselde gordelbogen en troggewelven tussen houten gekantelde balken.

House "De Poll". Large moated rectangular house with storey and surrounding hipped roof, with corner chimneys with wind caps. The house, which already existed in the 16th century and since 1636 a Gelderland fief under the name Huis Gietelo, received its present form in the 18th century and in the first half of the 19th century the current windows with moulded surrounds and eight- and six-pane sash windows, as well as the entrance section with Ionic pilasters and steps. In the rear and left-side facades considerable remains of the probably late 16th-century masonry with ashlar bands, moulded cornices and blocked relieving arches of the former windows. In the right-side facade the masonry of the 1636 extension can be recognized: brick facade with ashlar bands and segmental arch relieving arches above the windows with a lion's head as keystone. Early 18th-century front facade five bays wide, with central risalit with arched termination (restored after restoration in the late 1990s), ashlar plinth, corner risalits, glazed windows with broad central mullion. Ashlar perron steps. In the plinth penants with slots have been installed to place partitions for water defence purposes. Against the rear facade an extension. The facades are finished with a moulded cornice troughed ceilings. Roof dormers in all roof surfaces. In roof turret a wall clock by P. Seest from 1760. Wrought-iron pendulum clock mechanism from the early 18th century. The entire house is cellared. In the cellars cross vaults on mortared belt arches and troughed vaults between wooden cantilevers.
