Omschrijving onderdeel 1

LANDHUIS FLEVORAMA.

Description component 1

COUNTRY HOUSE FLEVORAMA. Built between 1856 and 1860 on the instructions of Elisabeth Dudok van Heel -van Rossum, a classicist whitewashed undercellared country house, originally on a T-shaped ground plan, under a gabled roof with shallow pitch with on the central risalit a raised middle section heightened by one storey under a gabled roof placed at an angle with shallow pitch. The front facade is divided by pilasters into three bays, within which centrally the broad entrance section, preceded by a broad stone platform, above which a balcony with wrought-iron balustrade. The entrance consists of a T-window door surrounded by moulding with fanlight. On either side two T-windows likewise framed and closed off by a cornice supported by scrolls. On the storey five framed T-windows. In the raised middle section on the roof a 2-window pane with on either side two mezzanine windows. All around, the facades are divided by a double cordon moulding with straight sections and closed off by a cornice. The pilasters display a circular field halfway up. In the gable fields of the side facades a round window, placed in a triangular field. On this side likewise framed T-windows. Originally the house was provided on the rear with a two-window-bay wide centrally located extension of a single storey under a gabled roof placed at an angle with shallow pitch. This was heightened to the current height between 1901 and 1904, when the house was owned by Aagot Fritjofna Dudok van Heel. On the storey on this side two T-windows. Furthermore, when the house was then extended in the corner of the T-shaped ground plan on the SE side to the current level. A new rectangular side entrance was built against the side facade of this extension under a flattened hipped roof with recessed zinc hipped ends. The flat is closed off by crests.

Internally the centrally located hall still displays the original rosette ceiling in stucco. In the room to the right of the hall a fireplace section with mirror with floret motifs and marble chimney piece from the time of construction. This room, as well as the room to the left of the hall, likewise still displays the original ceiling in stucco. In the cellar (barrel vaults) marble floor tiles and kitchen cupboards from the time of construction. The house was restored around 2000.
