BOERDERIJ De Schaapskooi. Boerderij bestaande uit een woonhuis met stal aan de achterzijde, op rechthoekige grondslag, bestaande uit een enkele bouwlaag en kapverdieping. Het huidige ensemble dateert uit ca. 1910, toen het oude woonhuisgedeelte, dat functioneerde als jachthuis en rentmeesterswoning werd afgebroken en werd vervangen door het huidige woonhuis. Het ensemble is opgetrokken met gele ijsselsteen, het woonhuis vertoont speklagen en strekken in rode baksteen. Het woonhuis is overkapt door een met gesmoorde tuiles du Nord-pannen gedekte mansardekap (eenvoudige makelaar) met overstek op klossen en houten windveren, de stal door een met rode Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak (eenvoudige makelaar) met overstek en windveren. Op de verdieping van het woonhuis een schuifraam uit de bouwtijd. In de stal gietijzeren ramen. Aan de achterzijde van de stal een dubbele staldeur. Vanaf circa 1850 functioneerde de boerderij ook als rentmeesterskantoor en rentmeesterswoning van de Maatschappij ter Exploitatie van Voorne's Duin en als jachthuis van de familie (van Hoey) Smith Na de splitsing van de erfenis van William Smith in 1919 kwam de boerderij in handen van James van Hoey Smith. Sinds ca. 1938 staat de boerderij aan de oprijlaan van de omstreeks deze tijd aangelegde parkaanleg van de buitenplaats Strijpemonde.

FARMHOUSE Schaapskooi. Farmhouse consisting of a dwelling house with cowshed at the rear, on a rectangular ground plan, consisting of a single storey and roof space storey. The present ensemble dates from circa 1910, when the old dwelling house section, which functioned as a hunting lodge and steward's residence, was demolished and replaced by the present dwelling house. The ensemble is built of yellow Ijssel brick, the dwelling house shows courses and bands in red brick. The dwelling house is covered by a mansard roof covered with plain tuiles du Nord tiles (simple structure) with eaves overhang on corbels and wooden wind braces, the cowshed by a gabled roof (simple structure) covered with red Dutch tiles with eaves overhang and wind braces. On the storey of the dwelling house a sash window from the construction period. In the cowshed cast iron window frames. At the rear of the cowshed a double stable door. In contrast to the present dwelling house, the original dwelling stood at right angles to the cowshed.
