Inleiding
TUIN- en PARKAANLEG in de jaren 1910-1911 naar ontwerp van L.A. Spinger aangelegd en behorende bij de historische buitenplaats Olaertsduyn.
De tuin is oorspronkelijk uitgevoerd in een gemengde tuinstijl met een formele, symmetrische aanleg met geometrisch lanenstelsel, rechtlijnige waterpartij en langwerpige bloementuinen rondom het huis, en een hieromheen liggend landschappelijk aangelegd park. Ondanks wijzigingen en het verdwijnen van de bloementuinen is de oorspronkelijke structuur van de in 1995 deels gerestaureerde tuin nog goed te herkennen.
Omschrijving
De tuin- en parkaanleg bestaat uit een combinatie van een open, formeel gedeelte in het verlengde van de middenas van het huis en een meer landschappelijk aangelegd gedeelte met parkbos rondom. Het formele, symmetrische gedeelte achter het ten opzichte van de omgeving hoger gelegen huis is, ondanks de verdwijning van de rechthoekige bloemenperken tussen huis en vijver, in hoofdlijnen goed bewaard gebleven en heeft een zeshoekige vijver en een rechtlijnig lanen- en padenstelsel in de vorm van een ganzenvoet, waarbij het landhuis fungeert als het middelpunt en het snijpunt van de lanen. De lanen zijn beplant met beuken en paardekastanjes. Aan het einde van de middenas staan twee baksteen sokkels waarop oorspronkelijk tuinbeelden.
