Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 8: KADEMUREN behorende tot de buitenplaats Borgharen.
De min of meer vierkante gracht rondom het kasteel heeft aan beide zijden keermuren. Onder de kopse gevels van de zijvleugels van het hoofdgebouw en aan de oostzijde van het slotplein zijn keermuren van gebosseerde hardstenen blokken. Rechts van de toegangsbrug is een steen ingemetseld met het jaartal 1669 en het alliantiewapen Van Isendorn à Blois en Van Agris. De verdere keermuren zijn ten dele in mergel en ten dele in baksteen gemetseld. Karakteristiek is de muurbegroeiing.

Description
Description of component 8: QUAY WALLS belonging to the country house Borgharen.
The more or less square moat around the castle has retaining walls on both sides. Below the gable ends of the side wings of the main building and on the east side of the castle courtyard are retaining walls of rusticated sandstone blocks. To the right of the entrance bridge is a stone set in with the date 1669 and the alliance arms Van Isendorn à Blois and Van Agris. The further retaining walls are partly built in marl and partly in brick. Characteristic is the wall vegetation.
