Omschrijving onderdeel 3: TOEGANGSHEK behorende tot de buitenplaats Borgharen.
De binnenplaats/cour d'honneur voor het huis wordt afgesloten door een smeedijzeren hek uit 1776 vervaardigd door Mathias Soiron (ter plaatse van een lage poortvleugel) bestaande uit twee natuurstenen pijlers bekroond door vaaskapitelen waartussen dubbele hekvleugels onder een rijk gesmede kuif in late Lodewijk XV stijl met het jaartal 1776 en het alliantiewapen van De Rosen en Van der Heyden à Blisia. Aan weerszijden van het toegangshek rechte spijlenhekken.
Het hek staat op een gemetselde onderbouw, die aan de grachtzijde bekleed is met gebosseerde hardstenen blokken (onderdeel van de keermuur).

Description of component 3: ENTRANCE GATE belonging to the country house Borgharen.
The courtyard/cour d'honneur in front of the house is closed off by a wrought-iron gate made in 1776 by Mathias Soiron (at the location of a low gate wing) consisting of two natural stone pillars crowned by urn capitals between which double gate wings under a richly wrought cornice in late Louis XV style with the date 1776 and the alliance arms of De Rosen and Van der Heyden à Blisia. On either side of the entrance gate straight bar fences.
The gate stands on a masonry base, which on the moat side is clad with rusticated sandstone blocks (component of the retaining wall).
