Omschrijving onderdeel 2: WATERBASSIN met KIOSK voor de badmeester.
Rechthoekig waterbassin of zwembad, met dien verstande dat de hoeken aan de noordwest- en noordoostzijde zijn afgerond. Aan de lange noordzijde van het waterbassin staat in het midden het paviljoen, hier recht tegenover bevindt zich aan de zuidzijde de cascade. In het bassin is door middel van lineaire, betonnen elementen of plankieren een scheiding tussen diep en ondiep zwemwater aangebracht, een en ander correspondeert met de verschillende functies als het polobad, het diepe of instructiebad en de kanovijver. Op een van de snijpunten van deze betonnen plankieren is een lage, platgedekte kiosk voor de badmeester opgetrokken in de materialen hout en glas. Betonnen startblokken met ingegrifte startnummers in de zijden, corresponderend met de zwembanen. Tussen de kiosk voor de badmeester en het paviljoen staat nog een betonnen duiktoren (1956) en een later tegen de duiktoren aangebouwde glijbaan.

Het WATERBASSIN met KIOSK voor de badmeester vertegenwoordigt het algemeen belang wegens:

Description of component 2: WATER BASIN with KIOSK for the swimming master.
Rectangular water basin or swimming pool, with the difference that the corners on the northwest and northeast side are rounded. In the middle of the long north side of the water basin stands the pavilion, directly opposite on the south side is the cascade. In the basin a division between deep and shallow swimming water has been made by means of linear, concrete elements or planking, which corresponds with the different functions as the polo pool, the deep or instruction pool and the canoe pond. On one of the intersection points of these concrete planking elements a low, flat-roofed kiosk for the swimming master has been built in the materials wood and glass. Concrete starting blocks with engraved starting numbers on the sides, corresponding with the swimming lanes. Between the kiosk for the swimming master and the pavilion still stands a concrete diving tower (1956) and a slide subsequently built against the diving tower.
