Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 1: PAVILJOEN.
Langgerekte, symmetrische en samengestelde bouwmassa, het centrale deel bestaand uit twee bouwlagen met schilddak en een twee bouwlagen tellende, naar voren springende middenpartij, ook met een schilddak. De begane grond bestaat uit baksteen (kruisverband), de verdieping heeft gepotdekstelde houten gevels. De daken hebben een overstek en zijn belegd met rode Hollandse danwel verbeterde Hollandse pannen.
In de middenrisaliet een dubbele paneeldeur geflankeerd door grote vensters, op de verdieping drie gekoppelde vensters met originele zesruits roedeindeling. De zijgevels van de risaliet hebben op de begane grond een doorgang met rondboog en ernaast een breed venster, op de verdieping aan beide zijden twee grote vensters. In de voorgevel van de risaliet op de verdieping drie gekoppelde zesruits vensters met roeden. Links en rechts van de middenrisaliet zijn de gevels van het centrale deel identiek: op de begane grond vijf gekoppelde lage raampjes, op de verdieping vijf grote vensters. De begane grond bevat o.m. een kassaruimte, een personeelskamer en garderobes. Op de verdieping wordt ruimte geboden aan een woning, een restaurant met keuken en een terras. Tegen de linker- en de rechtergevel van het centrale deel zijn in elkaars verlengde, twee lagere houten aanbouwtjes opgetrokken (1954) die de uitgestrektheid en de horizontaliteit van de middenbouw benadrukken. Deze lagere aanbouwtjes zijn gepotdekseld, voorzien van schilddaken met overstek en bevatten kleedhokjes (m/v) met opgeklampte houten deuren en bergingsruimtes.
Waardering
Het PAVILJOEN van het strandbad Winterswijk vertegenwoordigt het algemeen belang wegens:
- de architectuurhistorische betekenis, met name als sobere representant van de architectuur uit de jaren '30 van de twintigste eeuw zoals deze o.m. tot uitdrukking komt in het materiaalgebruik, de horizontaliteit en het dakoverstek;

Description component 1: PAVILION.
Elongated, symmetrical and composite building mass, the central section consisting of two storeys with hipped roof and a two-storey projecting central wing, also with a hipped roof. The ground floor consists of brick (English bond), the first floor has plastered wooden facades. The roofs have eaves overhangs and are covered with red Dutch or improved Dutch tiles.
In the central risalit a double panel door flanked by large windows, on the first floor three coupled windows with original six-pane glazing bar divisions. The side facades of the risalit have on the ground floor a round-arched archway and beside it a broad window, on the first floor on both sides two large windows. In the front facade of the risalit on the first floor three coupled six-pane windows with glazing bars. To the left and right of the central risalit the facades of the central section are identical: on the ground floor five coupled small low windows, on the first floor five large windows. The ground floor contains among other things a cash office, a staff room and changing rooms. On the first floor space is provided for a dwelling, a restaurant with kitchen and a terrace. Against the left and right facades of the central section, two lower wooden extensions built in line with each other (1954) emphasise the expanse and horizontality of the central structure.
