Building 62 stands isolated in a wooded environment, roughly between numbers 35 and 61, on the south side of and close to a straight axis oriented eastwards on Groot-Heidekamp. Single-storey, relatively small, with approximately 50 cm thick external masonry and partly executed with crawl space, brick MILITARY BARRACKS on rectangular plan and covered by a hipped roof lined with red improved hollow (Dutch) tiles, slightly splayed at the bottom, with two brick chimneys passing through the roof ridge. In the northern end gable / main gable on the left an entrance opening with two steps, fitted with a flat wooden door and a four-pane fanlight, and to the right of this two window openings with concrete sill, containing above four-pane casement windows and below double wooden inward-opening two-pane casement windows, below the sill provided with sheet steel shutters with green and white painted hourglass motif. In the southern end gable on the left and right a similar window opening and centrally a bricked-up entrance opening. Eastern and western long sides each with two similar window openings; on the right in the western gable moreover a bricked-up window. Gutters all around. Interior partly modernized. Staircase to attic level characteristic of the building period and wooden rafter and tie-beam roof truss present.
