Inleiding
Onderdeel G2 ligt vrij aan de zuidoostzijde van een licht gebogen, naar het noordoosten gerichte weg op Groot-Heidekamp, tussen 33 en 57. Het werd als 'Regelbau' tot stand gebracht in 1940-1941, met een functie als bluswaterbunker en is op macroniveau onderdeel van een grote militaire vliegveldstructuur uit de periode 1940-1945. Op mesoniveau is het onderdeel van een ijl complex van in brinkdorpachtige structuur geplaatste bouwwerken en op microniveau sluit het aan op een cluster van in los verband geplaatste bouwsels.
Omschrijving
In een ongeveer 70 cm hoog en zeven meter lang bakstenen muurtje met deklaag gelegen BLUSWATERBUNKER met groen geschilderde dubbele plaatstalen deuren, waarachter een ondiepe ruimte voor het koppelen van slangen. Onzichtbaar achter het muurtje een waterreservoir onder kunstmatig talud, waarop een ontluchtingspijpje met kap is geplaatst.

BLUSWATERBUNKER, van algemeen belang als relatief gaaf onderdeel van een uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog stammend en door de Duitse bezetter als onderdeel van een groot militair vliegveld opgezet legerkamp, vanwege: krijgs- en cultuurhistorische en complex- en ensemblewaarden, die onder meer kunnen blijken uit de samenhang van en met het totale militaire vliegveldconcept en de ruimtelijke hoofdlijnen en onderdelen van het kampement, en uit de onderlinge verwantschap van de hierbij toegepaste vormen.

Introduction
Component G2 lies free on the south-eastern side of a slightly curved, north-east oriented road on Groot-Heidekamp, between 33 and 57. It was created as a 'Regelbau' in 1940-1941, with a function as a fire-water bunker and at macro level forms part of a large military airfield structure from the period 1940-1945. At meso level it forms part of a sparse complex of buildings arranged in brinkdorp-like structure, and at micro level it adjoins a cluster of buildings arranged in loose arrangement.
Description
FIRE-WATER BUNKER situated in an approximately 70 cm high and seven metres long brick wall with coping, with green-painted double sheet-steel doors, behind which a shallow space for coupling hoses. Invisible behind the wall a water reservoir under an artificial embankment, on which a ventilation pipe with cap is placed.

FIRE-WATER BUNKER, of general importance as a relatively intact component of an army camp established by the German occupier as part of a large military airfield dating from the Second World War, by reason of: military and cultural-historical and complex and ensemble values, which can be demonstrated inter alia by the coherence of and with the total military airfield concept and the spatial main lines and components of the camp, and by the mutual relationship of the forms applied therein.
