Omschrijving
IJSKELDER. Bakstenen ijskelder uit 1870 op cirkelvormige grondslag met puntig koepelgewelf boven een ronde put. De diameter van de kelder is ca. 6 meter en de diepte van de put is ca. 4 meter beneden de bodem van het toegangsportaal. Het gewelf is versterkt met kruisribben, die boven in de top samenkomen in een vierkant, waarin in het hart van de kelder een haak gemetseld is. Centraal in de driehoekige voor(N-)zijde, waarvan de hoeken recht zijn afgeschuind, de getoogde ingang (zonder deur). Afgezien van deze gevel is de kelder geheel opgenomen in een aarden heuvelpartij.

ICE HOUSE. Brick ice house from 1870 on a circular ground plan with pointed barrel vault over a round pit. The diameter of the ice house is approximately 6 metres and the depth of the pit is approximately 4 metres below the floor of the entrance portal. The vault is reinforced with cross-ribs, which meet at the top in a square, in the centre of which a hook is set into the masonry. Centrally in the triangular front (N) side, of which the corners are bevelled at right angles, the arched entrance (without door). Apart from this facade the ice house is entirely set into an earth mound.
