Omschrijving
BRUG. Rode bakstenen rondboogbrug met dam, met gebogen naar de uiteinden uitzwenkende, gemetselde borstweringen. Aan de bovenzijde zijn de borstweringen met natuurstenen platen afgedekt. De brug werd in 1823, toen Jan David Zocher jr. op Hof te Dieren een park in landschapsstijl aanlegde, gebouwd, en heeft in deze aanleg ook een ornamentele waarde als 'pointe de vue'. Ten tijde van Petzold is de brug van gietijzeren pilaren voorzien die bij de restauratie in 1992 weer zijn verwijderd. Toen is de brug met handhaving van het werk van Zocher ook verbreed. Bij de brug een kleine cascade (onderdeel 13A).

Description
BRIDGE. Red brick round-arch bridge with embankment, with curved parapets swinging outwards to the ends. On the top the parapets are capped with natural stone plates. The bridge was built in 1823, when Jan David Zocher jr. laid out a landscape-style park at Hof te Dieren, and also has an ornamental value in this layout as a 'pointe de vue'. At the time of Petzold the bridge was provided with cast-iron pillars which were removed again during the 1992 restoration. The bridge was then widened while retaining Zocher's work. At the bridge a small cascade (component 13A).
