Inleiding
De boerderij is gelegen op de kop van het kavel. Het dateert uit omstreeks 1600.
Omschrijving
BOERDERIJ 'Oude Brouckhoeve' - behorende tot de hallehuisgroep en van het voergangtype - in baksteen opgetrokken op een vrijwel rechthoekige plattegrond en overdekt door een rietgedekt wolfdak. In het metselwerk van de voorgevel van de boerderij zijn vlechtingen en geblokte ontlastingsbogen opgenomen. Boven de keldervensters - in de voor- en zijgevel - bevinden zich geschilderde afweertekens. De boerderij bestaat uit een woon- en bedrijfsgedeelte. In het woongedeelte bevindt zich een opkamer met kelder, die is overwelfd met drie ribloze kruisgewelven. De houtconstructie in het woongedeelte bestaat uit dekbalkgebinten met geprofileerde korbelen waartussen een enkelvoudige balklaag. De houtconstructie in het bedrijfsgedeelte bestaat eveneens uit dekbalkgebinten, waartussen een enkele balk. De toepassing van dit type gebint in een bedrijfsgedeelte is zeldzaam. Op de hierboven genoemde dekbalkgebinten bevinden zich de kapgebinten met gehakte telmerken. In de boerderij bevinden zich enkele karakteristieke interieurelementen zoals: een bedstede/kastenwand, schouw, rookkast, waterfornuis, koelbak en dergelijke. Tijdens de restauratie in 1972-1975 is de houtconstructie van het bedrijfsgedeelte intensief hersteld en zijn vrijwel alle vensters in de gevels van zowel het woon- als bedrijfsgedeelte vernieuwd.
Waardering
De BOERDERIJ is van algemeen belang:
- als voorbeeld van een zeventiende-eeuwse boerderij;
- vanwege de architectuur- en bouwhistorische waarde vanwege de ouderdom, de toegepaste constructietechniek, de esthetische kwaliteiten van met name de voorgevel, de detaillering en bewaard gebleven interieurelementen;

FARMHOUSE 'Oude Brouckhoeve' - belonging to the hall house group and of the forward passage type - constructed in brickwork on an approximately rectangular ground plan and covered by a thatched half-hipped roof. In the masonry of the front facade of the farmhouse are woven brickwork and blocked relieving arches. Above the cellar windows - in the front and side facades - painted apotropaic signs are situated. The farmhouse consists of a residential and operational part. In the residential part there is a chamber above with a cellar, which is vaulted with three ribless cross vaults. The timber construction in the residential part consists of tie-beam trusses with moulded corbels with a single beam layer between them. The timber construction in the operational part likewise consists of tie-beam trusses, with a single beam between them. The use of this type of truss in an operational part is rare. On the tie-beam trusses mentioned above are the roof truss structures with hewn carpenters' marks. In the farmhouse there are several characteristic interior elements such as: a bedstead/cupboard wall, fireplace, smoke hood, water stove, cooler and the like. During the restoration in 1972-1975 the timber construction of the operational part was extensively repaired and virtually all windows in the facades of both the residential and operational parts were renewed.
Valuation
The FARMHOUSE is of general importance:
- as an example of a seventeenth-century farmhouse;
- because of the architectural and building historical value due to the age, the applied construction technique, the aesthetic qualities particularly of the front facade, the detailing and preserved interior elements;
- because of situational and ensemble values due to the functional siting on the plot, because of the coherence with the other outbuildings.
