Omschrijving
In het Gravenbos ligt de privébegraafplaats met een GRAFMONUMENT en GRAFZERK (8) van de familie Van Rechteren Limpurg. Achter een houten hek met geprofileerde zandstenen pijlers en omringd door rododendrons staat op een rechthoekig terrein het grafmonument. Daarvoor ligt een natuurstenen zerk. Het grafmonument is als neoklassieke tempel van rode baksteen opgetrokken en staat op een zandstenen plint. Het gebouw wordt afgedekt met een flauw hellend zadeldak. Kort achter de voorgevel wordt het nagenoeg rechthoekige bouwvolume iets breder en hoger. Rondom is het gebouw op de hoeken voorzien van zandstenen pilasters met Dorische kapitelen. Onder de dakrand een fries met trigliefen en metopen. In de voorgevel is de deur in een omlijsting geplaatst met fronton en palmetten. De voorgevel wordt afgesloten met een driehoekig fronton waarin het opschrift ' Ik ben de opstanding en het leven, die in mij gelooft zal leven al ware hij ook gestorven. Joh. 11:25', en het jaartal MDCCCLXXV (1875). Aan de achterzijde zijn de uiteinden van het fronton voorzien van palmetten. In de achter- en zijgevels dubbele vensters met een deelzuiltje en ijzeren siersmeedwerk. Op de grafzerk staat 'Fay Esme Gravin van Rechteren Limpurg geb. Baronesse van Heemstra 3 december 1906 + 2 juli 1968'.

In the Gravenbos lies the private burial ground with a FUNERARY MONUMENT and GRAVE STONE (8) of the Van Rechteren Limpurg family. Behind a wooden gate with profiled sandstone piers and surrounded by rhododendrons stands on a rectangular plot the funerary monument. In front of it lies a natural stone grave slab. The funerary monument is constructed as a neoclassical temple of red brick and stands on a sandstone plinth. The building is covered with a shallow sloping gabled roof. Shortly behind the front facade the nearly rectangular building volume becomes somewhat wider and taller. Around the building the corners are provided with sandstone pilasters with Doric capitals. Below the roof edge a frieze with triglyphs and metopes. In the front facade the door is set in an aedicule with pediment and palmettes. The front facade is finished with a triangular pediment containing the inscription 'I am the resurrection and the life, he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. John 11:25', and the date MDCCCLXXV (1875). On the rear sides the ends of the pediment are provided with palmettes. In the rear and side facades double windows with a half-column and wrought-iron ornamental work. On the grave stone is inscribed 'Fay Esme Countess van Rechteren Limpurg nee Baroness van Heemstra 3 December 1906 + 2 July 1968'.
