TOEGANGSHEK (6) aan het begin van de rechte oprijlaan naar het Huis in de as van de Gravenallee die vanuit het oosten op het Huis is geprojecteerd en door de Van Rechteren Limpurgsingel wordt doorkruist. Het hek is hier geplaatst in 1883 en is afkomstig van de Kerkplein waar het diende als toegang tot de begraafplaats rond de kerk. Het hek bestaat uit twee laat 17de-eeuwse zandstenen hekpijlers bekroond door siervazen met de wapens Rechteren Castell met 19de-eeuwse smeedijzeren hekvleugels. De 19de-eeuwse vleugelmuren met smeedijzeren hekwerk aan weerszijden van deze hekpijlers eindigen tegen twee lichtere zandstenen pijlers (eveneens omstreeks 1700) met eenvoudiger vaasbekroningen. Aan de buitenzijde van deze kleine hekpijlers smeedijzeren vleugelstukken tot in de gracht. De hekpijlers zijn iets verder uit elkaar gezet omwille van het verkeer. De hekvleugels sluiten niet meer aan elkaar. De grote hekpijlers stonden in het midden van de 19de eeuw bij de brug naar het voorplein.

Description
ENTRANCE GATE (6) at the beginning of the straight carriageway to the House aligned with the Gravenallee which from the east is aligned with the House and is crossed by the Van Rechteren Limpurgsingel. The gate was placed here in 1883 and comes from the Kerkplein where it served as access to the burial ground around the church. The gate consists of two late 17th-century sandstone gate piers topped by ornamental urns with the arms Rechteren Castell with 19th-century wrought-iron gate wings. The 19th-century wing walls with wrought-iron gates on either side of these gate piers end against two lighter sandstone piers (also circa 1700) with simpler urn tops. On the outside of these smaller gate piers wrought-iron wing pieces extending into the canal. The gate piers are set somewhat further apart for traffic purposes. The gate wings no longer connect to each other. The large gate piers stood in the middle of the 19th century at the bridge to the courtyard.
