In het midden van het gazon van het voorplein staat een zandstenen ZONNEWIJZER (7) in de vorm van een dodekaëder. De tien zijvlakken hebben alle uurlijnen en cijfers, maar verweerd; slechts aan het vooroverhellende zuidwestvlak zit nog een stijldriehoek. Op het bovenvlak zijn geen cijfers meer te zien. Waarschijnlijk heeft daar een horizontale zonnewijzer gezeten. Het rijk gebeeldhouwde voetstuk heeft een opengewerkt bovenste deel met aan vier zijden een monogram VRLA (Van Rechteren Limpurg Almelo). Gebombeerde sokkel met omkrullend acanthusblad. Omstreeks 1700.

Description
In the middle of the lawn of the courtyard stands a sandstone SUNDIAL (7) in the form of a dodecahedron. The ten side faces all have hour lines and numerals, but weathered; only the forward-tilting south-west face still has a style triangle. On the top face no numerals are visible. It is probable that a horizontal sundial was once there. The richly sculpted pedestal has an openwork upper part with on four sides a monogram VRLA (Van Rechteren Limpurg Almelo). Curved socle with scrolling acanthus leaf. Circa 1700.
