Twee stuwen behorende tot de buitenplaats Nijenhuis. Ten zuidwesten van het huis een grotere en een kleinere stuw.
Omschrijving
De kleinere STUW dateert vermoedelijk uit de late 19de eeuw en bevindt zich in een aftakking van de Molenbeek ten zuidwesten van de voormalige moestuin. Deze stuw bestaat uit een smeedijzeren constructie tussen gemetselde rood bakstenen keermuren waarin handmatig een klep op- en neergelaten en vastgezet kan worden.
Waardering
De kleinere STUW van twee tot de buitenplaats Nijenhuis behorende stuwen is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de ouderdom;
- vanwege de doelmatige vormgeving;
- als functioneel onderdeel voor de waterhuishouding van de buitenplaats;

Description
The smaller SLUICE presumably dates from the late 19th century and is located in a branch of the Molenbeek southwest of the former kitchen garden. This sluice consists of a wrought-iron structure between mortared red brick retaining walls in which a valve can be manually raised and lowered and secured.
