Omschrijving onderdeel 9: HEKWERK.
a. Aan de westzijde van de hertenkamp gelegen 19de-eeuws fragment van een smeedijzeren hekwerk langs de rand van de waterloop in landschapsstijl, dat de gehele hertenkamp omgeeft. Het hek is schuin naar binnen geplaatst en bestaat uit spijlen met pijlpunten. Wellicht gaat dit fragment terug tot de tijd van de aanleg van de hertenkamp omstreeks 1833.
b. Aan de oostzijde van het park gesitueerd eenvoudig smeedijzeren spijlen hekwerk uit de tweede helft van de 19de eeuw, bewaard als fragment van de vroegere omheining van het park. Het hekwerk verloop vanaf de ingang aan de Driehuizerkerkweg tot de hoofdingang aan de Parkweg.
Waardering
Het HEKWERK is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang:

Description
Description component 9: FENCING.
a. Located on the west side of the deer enclosure, a 19th-century fragment of wrought-iron fencing along the edge of the watercourse in landscape style, which surrounds the entire deer enclosure. The fence is placed slanting inwards and consists of spikes with arrow points. This fragment may possibly date back to the time of the laying out of the deer enclosure around 1833.
b. Situated on the east side of the park, simple wrought-iron spoked fencing from the second half of the 19th century, preserved as a fragment of the former park enclosure. The fencing extends from the entrance on the Driehuizerkerkweg to the main entrance on the Parkweg.
