Omschrijving onderdeel 7: MUZIEKTENT.
Houten muziektent omstreeks 1920 op achthoekige plattegrond gebouwd en in 1928 in de trant van de Amsterdamse School herbouwd. De muziektent is op een glooiing in de parkweide ten westen van de Hertenkamp gelegen, heeft een stenen trap van 10 treden, waarnaast bloembakken. De onderzijde van de tent en de bloembakken bestaan uit gepotdekselde delen. Daarop houten leuningen en buisvormige metalen hekken met plooiornament. Het afgeplatte tentdak met acht schilden wordt gestut door 8 houten pijlers met aan de bovenzijde een ornamentstuk. Het tentdak wordt door een vierzijdig rechthoekig ornamentstuk bekroond. Op elke zijde het oprichtingsjaartal (1926) met de cijfer-volgorde van boven naar beneden. De acht open zijden van de tent worden aan de bovenzijde door houten stores afgesloten.
Waardering
De MUZIEKTENT is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de ornamentele waarde;
- vanwege de zeldzaamheidswaarde van een muziektent in Amsterdamse schoolstijl;

Description of component 7: MUSIC PAVILION.
A wooden music pavilion built around 1920 on an octagonal ground plan and rebuilt in 1928 in the manner of the Amsterdam School. The music pavilion is situated on a slope in the park meadow to the west of the Hertenkamp, has a stone staircase of 10 steps, beside which are flower boxes. The underside of the pavilion and the flower boxes consist of rendered tile parts. On these wooden railings and tubular metal fences with pleat ornament. The flattened pavilion roof with eight slopes is supported by 8 wooden pillars with an ornamental piece at the top. The pavilion roof is crowned by a four-sided rectangular ornamental piece.
