Omschrijving
Voormalig KOETSHUIS ten noordwesten van het huis Zypendaal, gebouwd in 1764-1767 (eerste steen 'Hester Henriet Brantsen anno 1764 & 27 Julius'; inscriptie in baksteen ' Anno 1767 WCB'). In 1867 werd het koetshuis verbouwd naar plannen van F.W. van Gendt J.Gzn, waarbij de toegangen met omlijstingen gewijzigd zijn. In een aantal bakstenen zijn letters en cijfers gekerfd. In 1978 is het koetshuis gerenoveerd en als kantoorruimte in gebruik genomen, waarbij de oude vloerniveaus zijn gehandhaafd, maar de deuropeningen door grote vensters zijn vervangen. Gebouw opgetrokken van rode baksteen op rechthoekige plattegrond, van een bouwlaag en een kap hoog onder omlopend, schilddak, gedekt met gesmoorde oud Hollandse pannen. De gevels worden met geprofileerde lijsten afgesloten. Aan noord- en oostzijde een hoge gepleisterde plint met geprofileerde lijst. Vensters met rechte strekken. De naar het voorplein gerichte zuidzijde is regelmatig van indeling, vijf traveeën breed en gespiegeld met de daar tegenover liggende oranjerie (zie hiervoor onderdeel 4). De toegang zit in de oostgevel en bestaat uit een brede getoogde deur met houten omlijsting met spiegelveld. Eenzelfde omlijsting zit rond beide deurpartijen in de noordgevel. Het inwendige heeft een vloer van klinkers in visgraatmotief gelegd.

Former CARRIAGE HOUSE northwest of the house Zypendaal, built in 1764-1767 (foundation stone 'Hester Henriet Brantsen anno 1764 & 27 Julius'; inscription in brick 'Anno 1767 WCB'). In 1867 the carriage house was altered according to plans by F.W. van Gendt J.Gzn, whereby the entrances with surrounds were modified. In a number of bricks letters and figures have been carved. In 1978 the carriage house was renovated and taken into use as office space, whereby the old floor levels were retained, but the door openings were replaced by large windows. Building constructed of red brick on rectangular ground plan, one storey high and a roof high under encompassing hipped roof, covered with darkened old Dutch tiles. The facades are finished with moulded cornices. On the north and east sides a high plastered plinth with moulded cornice. Windows with straight heads. The south side facing the forecourt is regular in arrangement, five bays wide and mirrored with the orangery opposite it (see component 4 for this). The entrance is in the east gable and consists of a wide arched door with wooden surround with panel. An identical surround is around both door sections in the north gable. The interior has a floor of clinker bricks laid in herringbone pattern.
