Omschrijving
Voormalige MOLENSCHUUR bij de Witte watermolen, thans in gebruik als bezoekerscentrum, gelegen ten westen van de Witte molen, aan de rand van het park Sonsbeek aan de St. Jansbeek. De middenlangsdeelschuur, vermoedelijk van laat 17de-eeuwse oorsprong, is verbouwd en uitgebreid in de 18de eeuw, waarbij de huidige voorgevel met deeldeuren onder een korfboog en ovale vensters aan weerszijden ontstond. Ten behoeve van de inrichting tot bezoekerscentrum in 1983 werd een aantal aanpassingen uitgevoerd, zoals het inbouwen van een verdieping met kantoorruimte, rustend op de oude gebinten. Ook werd een aantal kleine vensters en een ingang in de achtergevel ingebroken. Aan de binnenzijde werden klampmuren aangebracht. De gebint- en kapconstructie werd geheel wit geschilderd.
Grote schuur op rechthoekige plattegrond onder wolfsdak gedekt met gesmoorde oud Hollandse pannen. De bakstenen gevels zijn geheel wit geschilderd, met donker geschilderde plint. De voorgevel heeft in het midden een dubbele deeldeur onder een korfboog met natuurstenen sluitsteen. Aan weerszijden ovale vensters. In het voorste deel van de rechter zijgevel bevindt zich een deur. In het achterste deel van deze gevel vijf houten deurtjes. In het bovendeel van de achtergevel bevinden zich sporen van een dichtgemetseld hooiluik met rollaag aan de onderzijde. In deze gevel zijn vier staafankers aangebracht.
In het inwendige zeven ankerbalkgebinten, waarvan het meest zuidelijke in de 18de eeuw werd toegevoegd.

De voormalige MOLENSCHUUR behorend tot de historische buitenplaats Sonsbeek, is van algemeen cultuurhistorisch belang:

Former MILL BARN belonging to the Witte water mill, now in use as a visitor centre, situated to the west of the Witte mill, at the edge of the Sonsbeek park by the St. Jansbeek. The central longitudinal-partition barn, presumed to originate from the late 17th century, was rebuilt and extended in the 18th century, whereby the current front facade with partition doors under a basket arch and oval windows on either side was created. In connection with the conversion to a visitor centre in 1983, a number of modifications were carried out, such as the installation of a storey with office space, resting on the old roof trusses. Also, a number of small windows and an entrance were broken through in the rear facade. Clamp walls were added on the inside. The roof truss and roof structure were entirely painted white.
Large barn on a rectangular plan covered with a half-hipped roof with weathered old Dutch tiles. The brick facades are entirely painted white, with dark-painted base. The front facade has in the centre a double partition door under a basket arch with natural stone keystone. On either side oval windows. In the front part of the right side facade there is a door. In the rear part of this facade five wooden small doors. In the upper part of the rear facade there are traces of a bricked-up hayloft opening with roller course at the bottom. In this facade four rod anchors have been installed.
Inside seven tie-beam roof trusses, of which the most southern was added in the 18th century.
