Omschrijving onderdeel 17: RENTMEESTERWONING.
De voormalige RENTMEESTERSWONING, waarschijnlijk uit het derde kwart van de 19de eeuw, is een witgepleisterd pand gebouwd op een van de L-vorm afgeleide plattegrond. Het pand heeft één bouwlaag onder twee haaks op elkaar staande zadeldaken met royaal overstek, windveren en sierspant. Op het met grotendeels met rode Hollandse verbeterde pannen gedekte dak staan drie wit gesausde schoorstenen. In het dakschild boven de linker zijgevel bevinden zich twee dakkapellen. De gevels hebben een niet symmetrische indeling en zijn voorzien van deuren en vensters (o.a. T-schuiframen, vierruits stolpramen) die deels voorzien zijn van luiken. De gevels zijn gedecoreerd d.m.v. gepleisterde banden en een grijs gesausde plint.
In het interieur bevindt zich o.a. een kelder met troggewelfjes. Het interieur is vrij gaaf bewaard gebleven en bevat ondermeer een witmarmeren gang en paneeldeuren.

De RENTMEESTERSWONING behorende tot de buitenplaats Biljoen is van algemeen belang:

Description
Description component 17: STEWARD'S HOUSE.
The former STEWARD'S HOUSE, probably from the third quarter of the 19th century, is a whitewashed building constructed on a ground plan derived from the L-shape. The building has one storey under two gabled roofs set at right angles to one another with generous overhang, wind braces and ornamental rafter tails. On the roof, which is largely covered with red Dutch improved tiles, stand three white-washed chimneys. In the roof gable above the left side gable are two roof dormers. The gables have an asymmetrical layout and are furnished with doors and windows (including T-sash windows, four-pane hopper windows) some of which have shutters. The gables are decorated by way of plastered bands and a grey-washed plinth.
In the interior there is inter alia a cellar with barrel vaults. The interior has remained fairly well preserved and contains among other things a white marble hallway and panelled doors.
