Omschrijving onderdeel 20: STENEN DOORLAAT.
STENEN DOORLAAT uit circa 1900, gelegen aan de vijverloop in landschapsstijl langs de parkweide ten noorden van het kasteel. De doorlaat is gesitueerd ten noorden van het bouwhuis.
De deels in gele baksteen en natuursteen uitgevoerde doorlaat bestaat uit een bakstenen achtermuur waarop haaks twee korte natuurstenen muren met inkeping voor een schuif. Aansluitend aan de natuurstenen muren een licht naar buiten uitzwenkend en naar onderen aflopend bakstenen muurwerk. De muren zijn tevens keermuren naar het park.
Waardering
De STENEN DOORLAAT behorende tot de buitenplaats Biljoen is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de ouderdom;
- vanwege de functionele vormgeving;
- als gaaf voorbeeld van een tot de ingenieuze waterhuishouding van Biljoen behorend bouwkundig onderdeel.

Description
Description component 20: STONE SLUICE.
STONE SLUICE from circa 1900, located on the pond channel in landscape style along the park meadow to the north of the castle. The sluice is situated to the north of the pump house.
The sluice, executed partly in yellow brick and natural stone, consists of a brick rear wall on which two short natural stone walls are perpendicular, with a slot for a sluice gate. Adjoining the natural stone walls, brick masonry that is slightly curved outward and sloping downward. The walls are also retaining walls towards the park.
