Omschrijving onderdeel 6: TWEE NATUURSTENEN LEEUWEN (op de bijbehorende kaart aangegeven met nummer 6).
TWEE verm. 18de-eeuwse natuurstenen LEEUWEN die tot de tuin- en parkaanleg van de buitenplaats Boschwijk behoren. De 'lopende' leeuwen zijn thans (1997) naast de oprijlaan voor het huis geplaatst. De beelden staan op lage natuurstenen sokkels en zijn afkomstig van de Diezerpoort in Zwolle en behoren al geruime tijd tot de buitenplaats.

De TWEE NATUURSTENEN LEEUWEN behorende tot de buitenplaats Boschwijk zijn van algemeen belang:

Description of component 6: TWO NATURAL STONE LIONS (indicated on the accompanying map with number 6).
TWO presumed 18th-century natural stone LIONS which belong to the garden and park layout of the country estate Boschwijk. The 'walking' lions are presently (1997) placed beside the access road in front of the house. The sculptures stand on low natural stone plinths and originate from the Diezerpoort in Zwolle and have belonged to the country estate for some considerable time.
