Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 3: PRIEEL (op de bijbehorende kaart aangegeven met nummer 3).
Gelegen ten zuidoosten van het huis Boschwijk ligt het deels uit houten delen en deels uit baksteen opgebouwde, 19de-eeuwse PRIEEL. Het prieel, opgetrokken op vrijwel vierkante grondslag met afgeronde hoeken aan de achterzijde, wordt overkapt door een met riet gedekt puntdak dat met een piron wordt bekroond en aan de voorzijde is voorzien van een royaal overstek. Dit overstek, waaronder een terras, wordt door vier staanders gedragen. Het achterste gedeelte van het prieel bestaat uit een zitgedeelte dat afgesloten wordt met glasdeuren. In de achter- en zijgevels bevinden zich vensters. Het prieel werd omstreeks 1995 tijdens een storm zwaar beschadigd en daarna gerestaureerd.

Description of component 3: PAVILION (indicated on the accompanying map with number 3).
Located to the southeast of the house Boschwijk lies the PAVILION built partly from wooden parts and partly from brick, dating from the 19th century. The pavilion, erected on an almost square ground plan with rounded corners at the rear, is covered by a pitched roof thatched with reed and crowned with a finial and provided at the front with a generous overhang. This overhang, under which a terrace lies, is supported by four posts. The rear part of the pavilion consists of a seating area that is closed off with glass doors. Windows are located in the rear and side facades. The pavilion was severely damaged during a storm around 1995 and subsequently restored.
