Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 4: HEK bij de hoofdentree (op de bijbehorende kaart aangegeven met nummer 4).
Het laat-18de-eeuwse HEK, geplaatst aan het begin van de rechte oprijlaan, is opgebouwd uit vier bakstenen pijlers op natuurstenen basement, elk afgedekt door natuurstenen geprofileerde dekplaten waarop een natuurstenen vaas in Lodewijk XVI-stijl staat. Op de middelste pijlers staan de woorden "BOSCH" en "WIJCK". Tussen de pijlers bevinden zich centraal twee draaibare, smeedijzeren vleugels en aan de linker- en rechterkant een smeedijzeren hek. Aan weerszijden van de pijlers staan drie balusters met afgeronde toppen (4 van beton en 2 van natuursteen). Tussen de balusters bevinden zich horizontale regels.
Waardering
Het HEK bij de hoofdentree behorende tot de buitenplaats Boschwijk is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de architectonische vormgeving en het karakteristieke materiaalgebruik;

Description of component 4: GATE at the main entrance (indicated on the accompanying map with number 4).
The late 18th-century GATE, placed at the beginning of the straight access road, is built up from four brick piers on a natural stone basement, each capped by natural stone moulded coping plates on which a natural stone vase in Louis XVI style stands. On the middle piers stand the words "BOSCH" and "WIJCK". Between the piers are centrally two rotating wrought iron wings and on the left and right side wrought iron fencing. On both sides of the piers stand three balusters with rounded tops (4 of concrete and 2 of natural stone). Between the balusters are horizontal rails.

The GATE at the main entrance belonging to the country estate Boschwijk is of general importance:
