Inleiding
INCOMPLETE MOLEN. De als stellingmolen uitgevoerde ronde stenen molen is in 1890 gebouwd als koren- en schorsmolen. De molen is in 1929 na een brand onttakeld, waarbij het wiekenkruis, de kap, de stelling en het gaande werk werden verwijderd. De zolders zijn in 1929 opnieuw aangebracht. De incomplete molen kreeg een functie binnen een mengvoederfabriek en had hierin tot het begin van jaren vijftig van de 20e eeuw een functie als opslagruimte en als schorsmolen. Hiertoe was op de tweede zolder een koppel maalstenen aanwezig dat door een dieselmotor werd aangedreven. In 1962 werd op de plaats van het maalkoppel een silo aangebracht. De incomplete molen heeft thans een functie als opslagruimte en ligt ten noorden van de lintbebouwing langs de provinciale weg. De romp is rondom uitgebreid met diverse aanbouwen. Deze aanbouwen vallen buiten de werking van de Monumentenwet. In de directe nabijheid staat een molenaarswoning. De incomplete molen is zichtbaar in een open omgeving.
Omschrijving
De incomplete molen bestaat uit de ronde conisch gemetselde bakstenen romp van een bovenkruier. De uit vijf bouwlagen bestaande romp is ter hoogte van de voormalige kapzolder voorzien van een plat dak met asfaltbedekking. Ter hoogte van de voormalige luizolder is een bordes met een motorluiwerk aanwezig.
Waardering
De incomplete molen is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege bouwtechnisch-historische waarden als herkenbaar en representatief relict van een ronde stenen koren- en schorsmolen uit het eind van de 19e eeuw die in de eerste helft van de 20e eeuw werd omgebouwd tot een mengvoederfabriek en schorsmaalderij;
- vanwege cultuurhistorische waarden als onderdeel van de geschiedenis van de graanmaalderijen en de leerindustrie van Nederland (schorsmolen) en de industriële ontwikkeling van Noord-Brabant en de plaatselijke geschiedenis;
- vanwege situationele waarden betreffende de historische gaafheid van de omgeving;
- vanwege de gaafheid van de molenbiotoop.

INCOMPLETE MILL. The round stone mill, executed as a post mill, was built in 1890 as a grain and bark mill. The mill was dismantled in 1929 after a fire, whereby the sails, cap, frame and machinery were removed. The floors were reinstated in 1929. The incomplete mill currently has a function as storage space and lies to the north of the linear development along the provincial road. The hull has been extended all around with various annexes. Description
The incomplete mill consists of the round conical mortared brick hull of a top-drive mill. The hull, consisting of five storeys, is provided at the level of the former cap floor with a flat roof with asphalt covering. At the level of the former attic floor a platform with a motor hatch is present.
